Motorhome & Campervan Hire FAQ's

Licence Requirements

All our motorhomes are under 3500kg in weight so can be driven on a standard licence.

Drivers must be between 25 & 70 and have held a full licence for more than 2 years. (It may be possible to insure drivers up to the age of 73 with a referral from our insurers, please ask us)

We can accept up to 6 points spread over 2 offences.

Insurance Requirements

Yes fully comprehensive insurance is included in your rental. However you are responsible for the first £1250 of any damage to the vehicle as this is our insurance excess cost .

We will require  a copy of your drivers licence , a DVLA check code and 2 forms of address identification which must show the drivers name and address & be dated within 90 days. The address ID must match the address on your licence.

You will need to leave a £1250 damage deposit on either a credit or debit card when picking up your motorhome , We do offer an insurance waiver to reduce this amount to £500 at a cost of £15 a day.  There are also a number of third party companies such as Questor who offer a policy to cover any deposit we have to withhold usually with an excess of around £350. If you do choose to take out a third party policy we still need to hold a £1250 deposit.
