Stravaig Motorhome Rental Ltd is a new family business that has been born out of the events of 2020 with the unpredictability of being able to travel further afield. Having both worked in the UK aviation industry for almost 30 years as airline pilots for two of the UK’s largest airlines, we decided it was time to start down an entirely new path. Being passionate about Scotland, the outdoors & travel, led us to setting up Stravaig Motorhome Rentals. We want to be able to offer families like us gorgeous motorhomes, which we have carefully selected to ensure you have a fun, unforgettable family experience travelling around Scotland & the UK. We also wanted to ensure larger families were catered for as we often have trouble finding accommodation for five of us, so offer 4 & 5 berth vehicles . Whether you are a couple or a family of 5 we can provide a motorhome you will love for a road trip to remember.
Understanding What Families Want
Our brand new 2021 model motorhomes incorporate stunning Italian design with desirable layouts that have families in mind,. They offer spacious family eating areas as well as areas to entertain. They are equipped with everything you need, including bike racks and outdoor table and chairs. All models have electric drop down beds to avoid having to make up all beds each evening. There are vehicles with prvate bedrooms in case some family members want to retire to bed before others, and motorhomes that offer twin beds.
Ensuring Your Confidence
We understand that for many people it will be the first time driving such a large vehicle. We will provide lots of useful information including instructional videos before your rental commences. We are the only company due to our location who can take you on a practice drive to ensure you are 100% confident before starting your roadtrip.
"Let's Go Stravaiging"
The word "stravaig" derives from eighteenth century Scots, and was often used to describe casual or aimless wandering. We really hope you enjoy some "stravaiging" around in our motorhomes.
