HELPING VISITORS ENJOY SCOTLAND RESPONSIBLY ON THEIR CAMPERVAN HIRE TOUR
With more people enjoying the outdoors as the weather improves and the plan for lockdown restrictions to be lifted towards the end of April, visit Scotland have launched a responsible tourism campaign asking everyone to help keep Scotland special by ensuring we all protect our natural resources. The activity, which supports the visitor management strategy announced by Cabinet Secretary for Rural Economy and Tourism, Fergus Ewing on Friday, is asking visitors to protect Scotlands countryside, respect the local communities, wildlife and landscapes but still enjoy the beautiful natural resources it has across the country. They want to use this unique opportunity to positively engage audiences and want to work with businesses, destinations and communities to ensure that visitors and locals can have a fantastic experience as / when tourism starts to rebuild itself.
